FAQ

Gaming Hub FAQ

Common questions regarding gaming mouse DPI, eDPI, and sensitivity calibration.

Why does sensitivity feel different in every game?
Every game engine (Source 2, Unreal Engine, IW Engine, Tank Engine) uses a unique base rotation constant (yaw). For example, 1.0 sensitivity in Valorant rotates over 3 times further per count than 1.0 sensitivity in CS2.
What is eDPI and how is it used in gaming?
eDPI (Effective DPI) is calculated as Mouse DPI × In-Game Sensitivity. It allows gamers playing the same game to compare their real aim speeds even if one uses 400 DPI and the other uses 1600 DPI.
What is the best way to match sensitivity between different games?
Using physical cm/360 distance (centimeters per 360° turn). By calibrating your sensitivity sliders so that rotating 360° takes the exact same physical distance on your mousepad, you preserve identical muscle memory across all FPS titles.
