2. How the Pointer Lock API Works

Normal web applications track the cursor via absolute screen pixels (clientX, clientY). When your cursor reaches the edge of your screen, absolute position stops changing. Pointer Lock hides the cursor, locks it to a fixed position, and delivers pure infinite relative deltas (Δx, Δy).
